St. Patricks Day Dash

On March 16th there is a 5k St. Patty's Dash from the Seattle Center to Quest Field. Much like the Jingle Bell run, this is a celebration that include costumes, festivities and many, many people. Julie, unfortunately, will be out of town that weekend (at a training camp in Boston!) but Kara and I are currently recruiting poeple to come dress in green, celebrate the coming spring and jaunt along with us.

A Few Favorites

Recently I have been doing a lot more shopping at Trader Joe's. Here are some of my favorites:

Eggplant Hummus (great with snap peas)
Pre-made Teriyaki chicken (perfect for salads)
3 bean canned mix (great fiber with good flavoring)

Some other favorites found at Costco or Safeway:

Lucerne Low-Sodium Cottage Cheese (great for breakfast with an apple and cinnamon)


Ok, just a few, but these have been my daily-must haves recently

Plus, work is becoming more and more slow as my days tick down here at Spherion

Jena & Sean & Sharks

Jena and her boyfriend Sean just recently went on a week-long diving trip in the Bahamas. My mom just sent these pictures to me and I thought you (well, at least Julie since I think she is the only one who reads this!) might enjoy them. They had a lot of fun and swam with sharks! Crazy! I would love to start diving like them, only the water is not nearly as pretty here as it is in San Diego.
