On Sunday, Kara, Julie and I ran the Cheslahud Lake Union Loop, a 6.2 mile loop around Lake Union. Kara and Julie are helping me trail for the Half Marathon coming up in August.
During the run, we shared our goals for the week. Kara's included eating healthier, Julies; not messing around on various internet sites and mine; start studying for the GMAT and NO SNACKING.
I am so thankful and lucky to have friends who help me train and share their goals with me, while encouraging me on my own.
Thanks Coach! ;)

If you drink out of a Nalgene...
Plastic Bottle Ban? - MSN Health & Fitness - Cancer
I just read this article as I was drinking out of my Nalgene...
I think its time to go buy some non-BPA bottles.
Use this Nalgene site to see if your bottles have BPA in it

Summer Camping
As I set up my new fabulous camping tent in my apartment yesterday, I am very excited to start camping, even for just weekend trips.
A co-worker told me about this one, called Deception Pass.
Julie, it looks amazing...what do you think?

April Fools!
To go along with the tradition of April Fools, a few people in my office have pulled minor pranks throughout the day. Basically, if you leave your desk you are bound to find something odd when you get back.
After returning to lunch, I found that my mouse did not work so I turned it over and found a pink post-it claiming "April Fools!" that covered the laser.
Calendars have been changed to 2007 and months switched, ring tones have increased and turned to the most annoying sounding ones, chairs have been manipulated to fall down, etc.
Minor pranks, a good amount of spice to lighten up the office.

Some amazing places around the world where marathons are held. At some point in my life I would like to be able to run a whole marathon, why not do it in another part of the world?
Make sure to see the slideshow of pictures
